Virgin Alexander
Our first feature. We wanted to make a romantic comedy that twists the genre a little on its head. It’s a sex comedy that explores how scared men are of women. It centers around a naive young artist who is first taken advantage of by his family, then his friends before finally standing up for himself and what he wants. He starts out desperately trying to save his house and hang onto his old life. He fails, loses everything but gains a new life and the possibility love in a larger world with, as Preston Sturges says, “a little sex in it.”
